Introducing Gravel Grip - Stone and Mulch Binder

Gravel adds instant charm to any outdoor space with its natural beauty and versatility. But as appealing as it is, loose gravel is difficult to keep in place. Foot traffic, pets, kids, and even the weather can cause stones to shift, scatter and create a mess.

Gravel Grip is the simple, smart solution for stabilising loose gravel, keeping your garden, pathways, and borders neat and tidy. This revolutionary gravel binder is designed to make your life easier by taking the hassle out of gravel.

What does gravel glue do?

Designed for DIYers, landscapers, and homeowners who want a stable, low-maintenance finish, it forms a durable, invisible bond that dramatically reduces the movement of gravel. It’s designed to be used with new and existing gravel and can lock stones up to 20mm together.

Can you glue gravel together?

Yes, but it needs to be a specialised glue.

Gravel Grip is a premium, water-based acrylic gravel binder that locks loose stones into place without changing their appearance. Gravel Grip is non-toxic, water-based, and 100% permeable. It allows rainwater to drain through naturally, so it won’t harm plants or affect soil health. It's completely safe to use in family gardens, near pets, and around flower beds or trees.

What does Gravel Grip look like?

You don’t have to compromise on the natural beauty of stones to prevent gravel from moving. Gravel Grip is a specifically designed gravel glue that preserves the natural texture and colour of stones while locking them in place. White in appearance, it dries clear allowing the natural look of gravel to remain. If you want to see what the effect of using Gravel Grip is, we suggest wetting the stones a little and you will see there is no change to the colour, instead it enhances the natural rich tones of the stone.

The benefits of gluing down gravel

Easy to use

Gravel Grip is designed with practicality and ease in mind - no special equipment needed. Whether you’re stabilising a gravel path, border, or mulched beds, the process is quick and DIY-friendly. You have three different methods of application to choose from: You can either pour it on, spray it on or mix it in.

For more information on how to apply Gravel Grip, follow our easy ‘how-to’ guide, or take a look at our Gravel Grip demonstration video, which explains the process step-by-step.

Reduces maintenance

Loose gravel tends to shift and scatter over time. By gluing it down with Gravel Grip, you significantly reduce the need for regular raking, sweeping, and topping up. It helps keep your gravel in place for the long term, saving you time and effort.

Improves accessibility

Loose gravel can be difficult for prams, bikes, wheelchairs, and wheelie bins. By stabilising the surface with a gravel binder like Gravel Grip, you create a firmer, more even finish that’s easier for everyone to use.

Strength and durability

Once dry, Gravel Grip creates a tough, weather-resistant bond that holds stones in place—no more loose patches, scatter, or mess after a rainy day or a quick game of chase around the garden. We recommend that Gravel Grip is re-applied annually to maintain the bond.

Gravel Grip is a gravel glue that’s ideal for paths, borders and mulched beds

Gravel Grip can be used to lock down gravel paths, borders, gravel between paving stones, flower beds and mulched beds for a smarter, tidier garden.

Gravel Grip is ideal for:

  • Garden paths and walkways

  • Decorative borders and edging

  • Gravel between paving stones

  • Mulched beds and flower beds

  • Decorative and ornamental areas

Anywhere you want the look of loose gravel, without the upkeep.

Which gravel works best with Gravel Grip?

Gravel Grip can be used with both new and existing gravel.

For the best results, use clean, dry gravel of 4- 10mm. Stones of up to 20mm can be used but we recommend them for decorative areas with less foot traffic.

Angular or irregular stones tend to bond better than rounded pea gravel, as they interlock more naturally.

Whichever stone you use with Gravel Grip, whether it be new or existing, make sure it’s clean and completely dry before application. Silty deposits, leaves and debris, and dirt can affect the curing process and result in a weaker bond.
