PLEASE NOTE: Slate Chippings are sourced naturally from the quarry, and in some instances, the product may require a simple rinse with water to remove natural dust and ensure the slate’s natural colour is enjoyed.

Product uses

Due to its size, 40mm Green Slate Chippings are generally too big for driveways and paths, and should be used for ground cover, mulching, and in ponds where the larger pieces give a better texture and form to any feature. 40mm slate chippings are best laid at 5-6cm deep and remain quite chunky and open in appearance. The actual size ranges between 25-55mm.

20mm Green Slate chippings are available if you want a finer, smoother finish.
