Our beautiful Green Slate Chippings 40mm showcases a variety of natural shades, from soft light greens to richer medium tones, they create a timeless finish. PLEASE NOTE: Green Slate Chippings are sourced naturally from the quarry, and in some instances, the product may require a simple rinse with water to remove natural dust and ensure the slate’s natural colour is enjoyed.

Product uses

Because of their size, 40mm slate chippings are generally too large for driveways and paths. Instead, use them for ground cover, mulching, and ponds, where the larger pieces add texture and form to any feature. For the best results, lay them at a depth of 5–6cm to maintain their chunky, open appearance. The actual size ranges between 25-55mm.

20mm Green Slate chippings are available if you want a finer, smoother finish.
