A beautiful combination of smaller slate pieces, this 2-14mm Plum and Blue Slate Mini Mulch version of slate chippings is made as a by-product of 20mm slate production.

Slate Chippings are sourced naturally from the quarry, and in some instances, the product may require a simple rinse with water to remove natural dust and ensure the slate’s natural colour is enjoyed.

Plum and Blue Slate Mini Mulch Uses

This mixed slate is mainly plum with blue pieces mixed throughout. This is ideal for paths, ground cover and borders due to its small size; it will also provide a compacted finish if required.

However, it is not recommended for drives, as it will not be stable under pressure and will carry in tyre treads.

Whatever theme you have in mind for your garden, whether that's Mediterranean, zen, or natural pools and rivers - coloured slates and gravels can be used to make your garden something special and unique.

Mini Mulch Sizing

This very attractive mini mulch ranges in size from 14mm, down to 2mm. This slate mini mulch is not to be confused with slate dust, as this is a clean slate product, not a self binding material.
