A beautiful natural blue slate, with pieces of plum and grey intermingled. The Blue Slate Chippings 20mm are great for planting areas and paths and have a natural variation in colour from blue and grey to plum, making this aggregate particularly attractive.

The blue slate is the flattest slate of all the other colours, so it can provide a neat finish when laid and is ideal for walking on.

Blue Slate Chipping Sizes

The actual size ranges between 5-30mm. 40mm Blue Slate is also available if you require a larger size of slate. Or if you require even larger 50-150mm pieces, you could try our Blue Slate Paddlestones.

The Blue Slate Chippings,also known as Welsh Blue Slate or Heather Slate, are best laid 3-4cm. This slate will settle and lay very flat, very quickly.
