Smaller 2-14mm version of slate chippings made as a by-product of 20mm production can be blue or plum or mixed colour with mainly plum colour, each batch can differ. Ideal for paths,ground cover and borders but as the material contains small pieces and fines it is not recommended for drives, it will not be stable under pressure and carry in tyre treads. Colour is not consistent but this is an attractive mini mulch. Size ranges from 14mm to dust and will form a compacted finish.
